This deserves another star

I've read all of Daisy Boon's fiction, and this is by far my favorite.
It's magical and has a surreal dreamy quality to it. It's a departure from her other works, which seem to focus more on straight Femdom. This is more about a husband changed into a woman and seduced beside his new bride.
It is one big long seduction as Daisy sets up the perfect climax. The husbands can return to their male bodies, provided they don't have penetrative sex, but it's a trap. The spell that has changed them, also makes them far more sensitive to their male guides. There are rules, and first any hope of sex is forbidden. Nothing like telling someone "no" to make them want something even more. We watch as the husband struggles to cope with excitement of his new body and the peer pressure from everyone to join the other side.
Now . . . the ending, which is where I think the negative reviews come in. I can see what I think Daisy was trying to do. I think she was trying to provide a reason behind the plot, a more reaching conclusion than just "they lived happily ever after". I won't say what it is, but I will say that I think Daisy was trying to change the point of view and stay true to the character's motivation behind the "plot". I also see why people got upset and objected to it.
I don't truly believe this story is anti-American or that the writer intended it that way, but I agree with the reviewers in that the last chapter was unnecessary. I didn't need it to love this story. It could've easily been some other explanation and I would've been fine. The journey was far more exciting and fun than the ending.

As anti american as apple pie!!!

Had to read the book as other reviews were fascinating as the difference in opinions was so wide especially as this was a sex book. I like to form my own opnion. Have never read a gender swap story but loved the concept from the start. It was really well written and I really enjoyed it. I loved the end as well, it was like a classic good against evil story where the loony terrorist villain threatens to blow up the world - as if!! It was as anti american as apple pie!!! The story sure gets my vote.

Great story. Wish there were more long involved ones like this. The transformation happens early, but he is then teased throughout the story before giving in.
